wait till you have picked your dress. That way if you end up in a white dress no problem. If you go for a coloured dress it could look really nice.

if you go for a coloured dress then why not put bridesmaids in white with a sash that matches the colour of your dress :)

My bridesmaid's are in a cream/beigey coloured dress with a pink satin sash around their waists. I wanted their dresses to be neutral but not white as it would be nice to stand out just for one day! x

My flowergirls are having white dresses with a black corsage or sash but the older one are having black with a white corsage or sash. I personally wouldnt have white for the older ones as im wearing white but if your going for a coloured dress then white with a sash or something in the same colour as your dress would look amazing x x x x x

With a bit of colour it would look nice as long as it didnt take attention away from your own dress lol!

if you have a bit of colour in your dress then white bridesmaids dresses would also look good!

Well sticking to the Kate and Pippa way of looking at it. When I first saw Pippa I was all noooo silly woman white bridesmaid, what were you thinking. But I soon changed my mind when I saw how gorgeous the whole group of them looked and the stunning photos. Talk to your bridesmaids, they might not want to wear white but agreed you should get your dress first because if you end up in off white, white bm's won't look good in my opinion.

In short. Do what makes you and your bm's happy and sod everyone else
