Ok so we dont have much money, we are quite a young couple with a mortgage and a car to run and we are paying for the wedding ourselves. So we are trying to get as many bargains as possible.
A friend of ours has a white MG classic sports car with red leather interior, which is beautiful. He has offered it to be used for photos (he is also taking our wedding photos for free, thank god for that man!!!). The whole day is at a hotel so and we are staying the night before and the night of the wedding so we dont need any transportation to or from the venue. The car would just be for photos. As we are getting married very close to loch lomond we want to make a trip down the road for photos (the beach side at Balmaha nr loch lomond is stunning) BUT its a two seater car. That means that I will have to travel from the venue to the beach in my dads Polo!! which is bothering me a bit.
Am I being silly? I just cant justify spending £300 on a car for 1 hour. Also I've been offered use of a Pontiac Trams am (The Smokey and The Bandit car) for free also (my fiances favourite car of all time) so not sure which one to go for?
I should mention, I work for Volkswagon so thats how I know car people lol - shame I cant get a Beauford for free ':-('

Not sure what transport i am having yet as getting married in Majorca but think H2b is planning a surprise in that regard! haha
although i do really really want a white convertible beetle!!! x
I cant afford anything expensive. I have a free MG on offer but wont fit in it as its a two seater. So I will have to settle for a normal car or the trans am. x

Petra, I think that would be lovely. Who cares how you get to the beach for the photos the fact that you will have a lovely car to have your photos taken with is all that counts. We too are getting married and having the wedding breakfast at the same place so have no need for a car but our friend has a lovely sports car and we will be using his for a few pics. Good luck x

if there offered for free have both if your h2bs fav car is the trans am then he can go down in that one and you get the mg problem solved im sure if they offered they wont mind

We havent sorted out cars yet but my H2Bs friend offered us 3 BMWs for half what he would normal charge for weddings!
