Hi girls some of you may know that I making my own bridesmaid dresses as I couldnt find anything in the right sizes for my very different sized bridesmaids. Anyway I recently had an operation on my foot so have been unable to sew for last few weeks but finally the first one is finished (pics in my albums) I have got 2 more to make yet but as foot is now healing I well should be able to whip them up in time now. Am just so happy that the first one is complete and more to the point it fits her YAY!!!! Sorry just needed to share x x x x x

They are great, have you made dresses before or is this your first attempt?

I have made things for myself before but never felt confident to make something for somebody else, but after much searching for bridesmaid dresses and not finding anything like I could see in my head i decided to try making them. Plus its a lot cheaper the material sfor all 3 dresses have come to about £90 total, would never have been able to buy dresses for £30 each so am very happy. x x

Well done! I know what a stress it was when we made ours trying to get people for fittings etc but it is worth it in the end xx
