After months of not being able to decide, we finally bought our bridesmaid's dresses last night! (I'll put a "before" picture in my album). We love it, but there's tweaks we want to make, (we're removing the sleeves and re-hemming them to make it sleeveless and removing the plaited belt and replacing it with a pink satin sash).
Just wondering if anyone had any experience of finding a great dress and then making a few tweaks to make it perfect? Me and OH are such control freak/perfectionists I don't think we'd have been happy if we couldn't alter it to make it exactly what we wanted!

I've been tweaking like crazy! First bm dress I changed the sash, took it up,replaced the zip, added a stiched-in bra and covered the straps with matching ribbon. Second bm dress, took off the sash replaced it and took up the straps, third bm dress cut nearly 9" off the bottom yards and yards of netting! Last night my h2b said "why don't you delegate some of this stuff?" I guess I just want it to be right. xx
