The other day I discovered one of our neighbours has a 1920's / 30's car in cream and black. He uses it as a prop in his business so it's more for show than anything. Today I have spoken to him and he's said we can hire it (and him) as it's not going far to pick us up and it's only for a couple of hours for £100. (He has to get special insurance) We were just going to have a relative with a nice car as I refused to pay £250 for approx. 1 mile drive. So this has worked out quite nicely.

It is good of him to say yes as it's not a wedding car, it is a prop in his business. It's a bit like someone asking to borrow my work laptop for the afternoon.
