    Hi Ladies,

I have just tried to purchase, my wedding Insurance and have just found out that I cant purchase it because im getting married to far in advance.

I have already put a deposit down on our church and was going on friday to put a deposit on our venue.

    I am know thinking
    1. Should I have waitied to get insured first
    2. Should I put the depsoit down on Friday
    3. If i dont I might loose my date.

Really dont know what to do about this ???

    Thanks xxx Jo

My insurance company said they will insure 2 yrs in advance, so im not sure what you should do, if your venue would provisionally book the date for you and then tell them you will pay a deposit 2 yrs before, its a long way away!!

When you get insurance you are covered for the things you already have as well as the things you will have!
So like lala said just pay the smallest amout of deposits you can to secure the dates etc then do the bigger ones after you get the insurance!

In this economic climate I'd rather pay £20 which is what my insurance cost and be covered if my venue, dressmaker, florist etc go bust then take the risk and not. At least I know I don't have to find that money again.
