Heyyy Everyone, As u all may know I have a 5 year old lil boy from a previous relationship, My H2B loves the lil dude sooooo much, we have been together for 4 years so he is a bigggg part in the lil ones life, He decided to tell me last night that he would like too try for another baby!! Ive got 8 more days on my pill then we are going to try and concive, as u can imagine im soooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. I love being a mummy and cant wait to do all the tiny baby bit again
But.... Ive been on the Microgynon 30 for 5 years and were worried it will take us a while to concive, any advice or tips on how to concive quicker will be much appreacheated xxxxxxx

I'd been on microgynon 30 for 2 years And the month after I came off it we conceived so that might not be a problem :) x

ive been on it for 4 years and at the min we have no plans for a baby, my friend jo was on it for 5 years and didnt concieve till about 6 months after coming off her pill but layls was the month after i think it depends on fertility. xx
I had been on it for 8 years, took my pill one night, then going downstairs to get a drink of water I dislocated my knee and got taken to hospital. They overdosed me on pain killes and gas at the hospital which made be sick. 4 weeks later one positive pregnancy test! I think it is a lot easier to conceive coming off the pill than other contraceptives like the coil etc.

Ooh this is interesting,me and H2B have wondered the same thing. We won't be trying for at least a year but have talked a few times about how long it may take after coming off the pill! Congratulations Tash that's so exciting, good luck!!

I was on it for about 5 or 6 years. I had to come off the pill for a minor op for 3 weeks and I caught straight away so I didn't have any problems. It might even time it just right to be a honeymoon baby ;0)

Thats great news hon. Id love to have another but I think 2 is more than enough for me.
Only advice I can give you is relax and enjoy it; stress will make it harder. Improving my diet and doing a little exercise helped me concieve with my son.... Also start taking your folic acide when you start trying.....

dont ever give up hope have faith n try not 2 worry about it 2 much. I was told i had a 10% chance of getting pregnant and am now 8 weeks pregnant.
