Wedding Forum - Where are you all going on honeymoon?...

Where are you all going on honeymoon if your having one?
Why did you pick there?
And what sort of honeymoon is it (relaxing, fun, sporty, kids etc)

We're going to Bath for 4 days on the Monday after the wedding, we've never been before but it looks lovely we're staying in the Hinton Grange Hotel if anyone knows it? We didn't want to go to far or be away to long from our kiddies, i'm going to miss them both loads & it will be the 1st time away from my daughter who's 2, quite worried yikes!

we are hoping for somewher hot but are getting a last minute deal after the wedding once we know what we can afford to spend following gifts.


im looking forward to break from kids and have some us time, we never have as met when my daughter was 2 and if you cant be alone for honeymoon when can you lol

am not having a honeymoon :( will ave the wedding night kid free and will make do for the time being, but were off away on a family holiday and i kinda tell him its our honeymoon before we get hitched kinda thing x

we've been away with the kids but never by ourselves, i've just resigned myself to the fact it wont happen till they leave home lol x

dont know if we can afford one straight after the wedding so might have to have a late one, i want to go to the maldives and H2B want to go to cyprus xx

not going on honeymoon till nxt year probably, but my soon to be father in law has booked us 3nights in bournemouth on the sea front!!from the monday so we can relax on the sunday after the wedding :) he is a fab "pop".

We are going to Mexico for two weeks.
The thought of spending two weeks together (three if you count the week before the wedding as well!) is just bliss- I would spend it in a skip tbh!

i don't know where we're going - H2B is travel agent so he's planning the whole thing and will be complete surprise for me! We've spoken about Egypt if have a cheaper one though, otherwise Maldives or maybe Borneo followed by another malaysian island. I wanna see the orangutans!
He may well just book a week in the lake district though! we went last year and stayed in a teepee and i fell in love with the place x

we are really struggling with this one.. we only have about a grand to spend on a honeymoon but cant find anywhere. Neither of us are beach people so the Med etc really doesnt appeal and anywhere we would love to go like America or Singapore etc is way way WAY out of our budget

Been looking at Italy.. i think because we're tied to going in the Summer holidays, everywhere is expensive.

we are getting married in Mauritius but booked up for 2 weeks so we can have our honeymoon there also we're taking the kids so should be fun lol and to all those going to florida please take me I love it there but h2b wont let me go back incase I don't back btw not to change the subject of honeymoons but did anyone hear about that trainer at sea world that got killed? xx

We are going center parcs! Love it there so much. Its where we had our first ever holiday together and its good for the kids!

Nowhere! We have two nights in the honeymoon lodge at the venue and that's it! We wanted to spend it all on the day because we want the day to be for everyone, I explained the reason before, don't know if anyone remembers but its really important for us to have that day for all our family and friends. Feel boring now :o(

We are thinking about Mauritius but not totally deceided yet. I wanted to go to the Maldives but it will be the start of the rainy season and I'm not spending all that money to get rained on when I can get rained on for free here! lol

we're going to cuba! am so excited wedding in cyprus in juky and then cuba in november i cant wait!! i'm gonna have to start saving my holiday days now tho! x

Leanne I used to live in Chippenham ( a town just outside Bath). Bath is great - very cosmipoolitan and the surrounding area is beautiful. NEarer the time give me the 'nod' and I will give you a 'heads up' of some smashing places to go and see (you'll need a car tho!!).

We need to go somewhere where the diving is good! Thinking Aruba at the moment. It seems to be cropping up everywhere, think its trying to tell us something, especially since it was in our dive magazine this week too!

Were only Going The Lake District As We Dont Wanna Leave Our Daughter & 2 Dogs With MY Family For 2 Long,, But Im Looking Forward To It :)
