My parents are divorced and my mum HATES my dad. She has refused to sit on the top table, even though I said she doesn't need to be anywhere near my dad! I have asked my dad's partner to sit at the top table with us all but she wants me to check it's ok with my mum in case it upsets her. I haven't dared to bring the conversation up with my mum as I'm really worried about her response - I get married this Sunday and I still don't know what to do so I dont upset anyone. My dad's partner has said she is happy to sit with her sister & brother in law but I think it would be nice if she can be with my dad to support him as he is really nervous about making a speech. HELP - what would you all do in this situation? I need advice quick lol

Why dont you have top table just for you and husband and bridal party?

If I was having a top table that's what id be doing! as we are having just a social club for the reception we are setting up just a sweetheart table

Sorry, I am being really thick here - who would you include in the bridal party to sit at the top table?
