Here's a few recommendations for Hens simply because I've attended plenty as a Butler I tend to see it from a blokes perspective and see what works and what doesn't.
Golden rule, take it easy when it comes to drinks, you have all day and night so enjoy it!

Choosing the venue is key - this clearly depends on how you want to spend your day and evening. I see people who want get away from the big cities and head out to places like Buxton in a cottage for a relaxation, some drinks, some games and a bit of a bbq. I always find these type of people more chilled out and just want to unwind. If you really want to pamper yourself you should look out for places with Jacuzzis.

If you like to party then the city is for you. Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham are some of my hot spots for a good night out on the town.
Recommendations for the day - Cocktail making, chocolate making, treasure hunt, go ape, Spa & relaxation or a nice meal to line the stomach for what's to come in the evening. Butlers are a good idea if you want to keep your guests entertained and be able to relax. Also party games such as Mr and Miss, Pin the 'thing' on the naked man and dancing the night away after some cheeky cocktails and shots. Don't forget allways get lots of photos, these can make a great impact in the memory book.
Try and book a club where there is lots of entertainment and shows to keep everyone entertained, the birdcage is aways popular in Manchester with its drag shows.

Hope this has been helpful, I would like to hear what else you ladies recommend as I am currently looking at starting a new business in Hen Parties?

I'm doing 'Its A Knockout' followed by a night out in Nottingham and a stay in a hotel! booked it all seperate, its £40 for I.A.K, £35.50 for the room at a prem inn (which includes breakfast). It's something different! We were going to do hens vs stags but had a problem with childcare for our child and family kids. Looking forward to it! :-)
