Hi everyone got a bit of a issue my h2b mum and dad are not doing anything for the wedding and everytime I show them a wedding dress or a bridesmaids dresses for there daughter that I am buying they don't like it and now I come to my question do I get them a present as I am getting my mum and present for getting my dress and my dad as he has payed for loads of it but I feel rude to give everyone present on the top table but not them. Help people x

Tbh I would get them a little something as a token just to stop anything from kicking off. You don't have to spend a lot of money but it could cause friction if they think you are cutting them out of the family.

my mil and fil havent done anything towards our wedding, but we are getting my mil a small bunch of flowers so that she doesnt feel left out xx

I would not mind getting them somthing but they have always pushes him out and didn't even get him a 21st birthday present that was in feb or a engagment card so I think why should I spend my money and bother x

can't believe they aren't helping you in anyway, I hope they are at least excited and happy for you both?! I'm probably get a token gift, the framed poem is a nice idea. At least then it shows that you're the bigger person and won't be taken down to their level.

I can understand why you feel like that but just because they are bad doesn't mean that you should be like them. Rise above them and show them you are not like that. I'm sure they will be the first to pick up on it if you don't.

The poem you can do up yourself on a computer and add what ever picture you have of you both and you can buy a nice frame. its cheaper than getting someone to do and u can put ur own stamp on it... :)
