We're having crackers with our favours in (miniture packs of love hearts) and my Godmother and mum will be doing these next week. We want to replace the traditional joke you get on a piece of paper inside them with something a bit more appropriate for our wedding! Not sure what it should say though! What do you think of the following:
Heather & Dave Married on 15 September 2011 Celebrating with friends & family on 15 October. Thanks for being part of this special occasion!

EDIT! So one one side there will be the above, but on the other side there will be a face about us - such as how did we meet etc. Please add you suggestions below to what else we could tell them about us! Thanks Hx

That's lovely :) we're having crackers too with a few bits and bobs in them (bubbles & chocolates etc) we're having wedding jokes, there was a great link on here with some fab jokes on them x

Can you have the wording above on one side and on the other you could have a 'couple fact' which then people would discuss (a bit like telling the person next to you the joke!) e.g. Did you know the couple met at... or Did you know Heather met Mr Nicholson during.... Little things that guests may not know about the couple. Little fun things that can make you smile??

Oooh, really like these ideas! My only concern is that the piece of paper in each cracker needs to be fairly small, so how would I fit it all on?!?
Have you thought about saying something like Thank You for being part of Heather and Daves special day 15 Sept 2011 Bonded together in love and marrage xx
CommentAuthorLittle Kettle
@Rosie - I like that, but as we're gettign married abroad and celebrating afterwards back home, we feel it's important to acknowledge that...Hx

Who says you have to give the answer? Let them sit and talk about it then find out. It will give them the chance to talk to you and Dave about it and come up with their own versions lol.
the quizz idea sounds good as there's always people that know you from different stages in your life. Not many people you work with will know childhood stuff and family won't know too much about your work stuff.

I've just thought I have some table trivia so you could use some of them if you wanted? There are 100's of things in the boxes so I could always type you some up?
