When do you give out the kids bags? Do you hand them out after the service to keep them busy while you are having photos taken or at dinner? I'm not sure which will work out the best.

i think its usally when ur having dinner. u cud always hand them to the parents for them to give to their children x

I had ours at the tables during the meal!! Ceremony was only a short period so didn't mind if they giggled a bit or what not but they were all good as gold anyway but during dinner is a long process and often quite boring for kids so by giving them at the meal it kept them busy

I was thinking of putting them in their place settings. I think if they have something new at the time when we need them to be a bit quieter i.e. speeches it might keep them occupied. x

I'm going to be putting them on there chairs but making sure I have bits and bobs they can play with outside after the ceremony during photo's.

My mum is lending us her bounchy castle to go outside so that should keep the kids busy when we are having photos.............but was thinking of leaving it down till the evening as i dont want the other hotel guests using it while we are eating, not sure what to do????

We put ours out for the kids on the tables so they'd be quiet during the speeches. It worked brilliantly and they I forgot they were there! It was especially good as there is one girl who is 6.5 and an absolute nightmare, but she was very quiet xx

im having special ones for my little flower girl and my page boys and im putting them on their chairs but i will have some for the few kids who will be with us in the evening so i will get one of the girls to give them to their parents for the evening kids xxxx
