    Hi ladies,
Wondering if you can help me....

I'm making winter-wonderland type centrepieces, using tall vases, twigs wrapped with fairy lights and baubles hanging off.
As it's going to be top heavy I need something to put in the vase to weigh down. 1/2 vase I was thinking white sand / stone / crushed glass and the top 1/2 little baubles and cones.
Does anyone know where to buy crushed glass / white sand cheap (a lot of florist supplies appear to be quite expensive), also what do you think will look better - sand / stone / glass?
    Thank you! :) xXx

What about the likes of pebbles or gravel stuff, some garden centres give small bags away for a very small price. Also worth trying shops selling candles as they would sell coloured sand or stone beads. Another thought for the crushed glass it to ask your local recycling centre, as they may be able to tell you where to get it cheap.
