Hi, Im fairly new here and I lost my dad to cancer in March this year. He left me and my h2b money to get married and he knew he wouldnt be around to give me away :(
As a thank you to him and I think its fitting that I give 1.50 per person to Cancer Research they give a badge supporting cancer. Do you think my guests will mind not having a favour, instead that get a badge.
What do you think?

It is a great idea I think, we are doing breast cancer and prostate cancer badges at our wedding :) x
We're doing the same thing. Pretty much all the family who won't be at our wedding died of cancer so we thought it would be a lovely thing to do. I'm sure people will think its a lovely thought and I imagine they'd appreciate it more than a normal wedding favour. Go for it :o)

Hey Tracey, so sorry for your loss hun, I think it is a lovely idea and no I dont think people will mind not getting a favour, the money is going to such a worth while cause, and half the time favours get left behind and thrown out anyway. I too lost my Dad to cancer (a few years back) and have been thinking about doing the same. xx
