CommentAuthorOfficially Mrs Nicol
we are having little packets of love hearts, thats it.. :) I dnt think big things are needed as its the thought that counts.. :)
CommentAuthorkimmy
Me too, we have personalised labels on little packs of love hearts they look really cute, we were going traditional with sugared almonds but i was concerned about nut allergies, you can choose a mix, maybe a few organza bags in your theme colour of mint imperials for example :D
CommentAuthorButterflyDreamer
There are loads of thing honey on the bay of e :D.
Traditionally i think its meant to b 3 sugared almonds. Can't remember what for but i know that's a definate!
We were just doing cadbury's chocolate eclair sweets in an organza bag for everybody. I've seen Chocolate lollies shaped in to butterflies and roses Depends on how big you want to go or what theme you have. I think personalised chocolates are a good way to go :D xx

Traditionally it's 5 sugared almonds, each one is supposed to stand for health, wealth, happiness, long life and fertility.
I'm having gold dragees to go with a gold theme. Look it up online.
Ive got hip flask keyrings for the men, heart compacts for the women and goodie bags for the kids

My favours will only cost me £50-60 max, so i dont see it being a great big waste of money , but i do understand if you are on a tight budget it could go to better use else where
CommentAuthorMrshales2B
We are doing our own sweet buffet instead of favours, seems to be much cheaper that way, plus if the sweets dont get eaten i can take them home and eat them meself lol I LOVE SWEETIES haha xxx

I am NOW MRS LONSDALE!!
CommentAuthorNerdette
I've considered doing my own version of a sweetie buffet (but not paying a company to do it for me!) and have a fishbowl with sweets doubling as my table centrepieces. My dad's a card-carrier of more cash n carry places than I can count, so job-lots are easy to come by, even if it's not the cheapest!
On 21st April 2012 I will marry my best friend!

we are giving all the adults a lottery ticket in a wallet with butterflies on. was going to do bubbles for the children as they all love playing with them :)

I'm going for the sweet buffet idea for the evening, as we are only having a small wedding breakfast and most of my friends wouldn't get a favour otherwise, and I'd like them to! Plus I love sweets and think it's a fun idea!
But a little stuck on what to have for favours at the meal! I like the mini egg idea, but my wedding's in the summer, not Easter! And I'm worried chocolates may melt if it's hot...
CommentAuthorSuzie Bear
We're having marshmallows. Works out 23p a favour I think! Although my friend works in cosmetics and reckons he can get me a load of pink nailpolishes for free ( a good brand) so now i'm torn x
