Hey! Basically, someone suggested that I should wear my mother's wedding dress on my big day... But the thing I'd, her marriage to my stepdad lasted all of three years, after she had an affair etc. Do you think that it would be a bad omen to wear her dress?

i think if you want to wear it, wear it, it doesnt matter if it lasted 3 days, 3 years, or 30 years. if you dont want to then dont. its your day hun x

no. dont take it as a insult to your parents but you are different to your mum and your situation is different. It is the person in the dress. The dress does not have a curse on it lol. If you like it and want to save some pennies then go for it x

Thanks guys! I didn't expect so many replies! Yeah her dress was really nice to be honest, and it would save me quite a bit of money, so I guess I'll try it on and see if I like myself in it :)
