I don't know anyone who has ... we're having ours the weekend before due to overseas people, or we'd have had them earlier.

My H2B's having his stag the night before as it will be the only opportunity for him and his mates to get together as they're based all around the world! I'm not worried about it though. His Best Man is t-total and my H2B was his BM last year, so I know he'll be well looked after!

Oh, I'm also having a very small hen do the evening before, but it starts at 10.30am when I get my hair and make up trial done! Then it's off for lunch with my MoH and then probably something like getting our nails done in the afternoon then in the eve, I'll meet up with a couple of other friends as well as my mum and my MoH's mum and get an early show and dinner and then bedtime! No later to bed than 10.30!

I have told H2B that he has to have the stag 2-4 weeks before the wedding I will be having mine about 3-4 weeks before the wedding.
I think it's safer that way just incase something should happen - like you get some UDI thats gonna show on the day.

I would not want to be hung over on my wedding day. I am not a big drinker and when I do drink i only taks 1 glass of wine before I am tipsy boarding drunk. Then I am ill for days.
The night before I might have my maids and few family members to my room for a few drinks. Nothing huge because I want to be bright eye'd and bushy tailed for the morning lol
Mark wants to go to newquey for his stag do so he will have to do it few weeks before lol He will need to recover and for hair to grow back!!!

Yeah ours will be weeks before the wedding, we are both at our venue the night before. H2B is hoping his brother flys in the week before the wedding (he is VERY attached to his brother) so he can have a stag do with him there, but no way will there be anything the night before H2b is a lightweight and even if he had 3 or 4 pints would be hungover for the wedding.

lol!! sorry I just reacted really defensivly ! haha Its just my H2B has longish hair and he looks perfect the way he is.
I want the photos to look like how I know him. you know what I mean.
My brother opened up about what happened to him on his stag do in 2008 over the easter holidays - My mum was almost in tears!!!
It was kinda funny though - But I wouldnt think that if it happened to my H2B

I would be upset too. I would go mad at that person and pull him from the wedding, best man or not. I HOPE it wont happen but if it does then he will have time to grow them back!!!

My brother was Whipped across his bear bottom on his stag up on stage. And he was bleeding and had scars for weeks after. He said it was insane pain - as he was being whipped with an actual Belt by a Man!!!!

Oh my goodness, that is horrendous! I don't know what Michael will be doing for his stag, but I would be fuming if any one touched him in any way. Like you said Rhiannon, I would want them automatically banned from the wedding.

yeah When my brother came back from the stag and showed his now wife, she cried. She was really angry. But At the end of the day My brother wasnt forced to do it = he could have backed out at any point - but his male pride got the better of him because he had an audience.
The Best man didnt know it was gonna happen and couldnt apologies enough he was shocked.
Looking at it now 3 years on its a funny story, but not at the time!

Yeah, I guess it's different now than at the time. I would probably cry too. Oh dear men and their pride. Oh I really hope Michael doesn't do anything stupid. To be fair he doesn't drink and his best man doesn't either and won't stand for any nonsense. I know it's about having a good time, but that's not how we do it. To be honest we could probably have the hen and stag the night before and it would be alright, because neither of us drink, but I want to do it the week before as that last week is going to hectic and I want to have a quiet night before the wedding. :)

There's defo one thing i want to do and thats the dance stuido thing. Saw it in scott wedding direc mag and you go to a dance studio, pick a song and they teach you a routine and then video you all. That will be during the day and i think it will have to be in edinburgh. Thats something that the young ones can join in on too. Then my mum suggesting having another night, possibly booking a section in a pub for all the ladies so we can have a good drink. Like the sound of that and thought i could get a dj and karaoke in on it too. Plus i have family coming over from america so need to do the party thing when they get here so they dont feel left out.xx
