My dad bought my wedding necklace from NZ on holiday last year, since then he's being keeping it a secret and planned to give it to me on the morning of my wedding... Which I was dead set against - didn't want the extra stress on the day. Anyhow, last weekend I went to visit him and he showed it to me! Although no pictures allowed. And... I LOVE IT. It's a gorge ivory real pearl necklace but the pearls are not rounded off so they're in the original shape - wacky but classic. Perfect. My whole opinion of my dad has now changed - maybe he does really care. If buying me fantastic jewlery is the way he wants to show it then let it continue!
