I was just wondering what everyone is going to have for their something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. I have a blue garter and was thinking of having my dress as the 'new' but am a little stuck on the others Any ideas? xxxx

I know some ppl struggle with old but the gold, platinum, diamonds, etc on your e. ring are actually billions of years old hehe so can you cheat?

I'm rewatching Amy Pond's wedding on Dr Who with the TARDIS as something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
More seriously, I'm having my grandma's/my engagement ring as something old, my dress as something new, my mum's/great aunt's garnets as something borrowed and a blue silk-satin garter as something blue.

i didn't realise it was something your BM's did.... at least that something less to think about I guess.

I really like the idea of having something old/borrowed as grandma/mums jewellery, I might ask my mama. Can do both at the same time, I hope it doesnt have to be from a happily married woman haha. Could ask my nana as she was happily married til my grandad died :( Thanks girls xxx
