Just thought you all may need a little warning about this insurance company.
If you book them please please please check the small print. I took out this insurance over a year ago and thought it covered me if anything was to happen to me or the groom!
The groom has been made redundant so we are having to claim through the insurance. I spoke with the insurance company and then told me that because I only had 3 months to go they would pay to continue my wedding instead of cancelling it. Kind Right!!
I sent a receipt for everything that had been paid and an invoice for everything due and now they are saying they will not pay out as we have to prove that the groom is paying for at least 80% of the wedding and has already paid for at least 80% of the wedding. If it is 79% then its a no. You may all think this is easy but it really isn't. My groom has paid for everything but now because invoices are in my name and not the grooms they do not believe me. Also as things have been paid on my card and parents cards and money has been taken out of his account and I have paid bills they say I have no proof.
Please be careful if you book the insurance so there are no hidden clauses as now I am having to cancel all of reception and just get married and go home! So we have gone from the wedding of our dreams and having wedding insurance people tell us that they were still going to help us with the wedding to having nothing at all.
I dont want and I hope that none of you have to go through this but would ask that if you are thinking about insurance that you check first!!! It saves all the disappointment.

No, if I paid for something that was like £34.79 I would of just taken like £40 out of the grooms account so they are saying I cant prove that he is paying me back it could be that we just spent £40!! Unfortunately.
I'm writing witness statements and everything but they said it would take a while and with 2.5 months left I can't wait around so I have to cancel now! xx

really sorry to hear this. so many brides on here are with them but i read the reviews and decided that there was no way i would use them.

I too have mines with them hope to goodness i never have to use them and if i do they dont give me any problems........good luck with what ever you decide to do with your big day
