have you done a preg rest to rule it out Di?? ...if its been working for you up til now it could be a possibility!!!

if its not then thats when u could go back to docs and explained its not working etc

i did one yesterday, negative :-( I am just presuming that it is no longer effective for me x

its only 5 days after your normal cycle....so i would take anothe test next week if it hasnt came ...or go back to docs!

We have been refused IVF because H2B already has a child, not with me may i add, i have no children, just a past of miscarriages, but they dont take that into account, if we want IVF now it wil cost us around £9000, i cant see us ever being able to find that sort of money. I dont go back to see the Gynae consultant until June, it was her who prescribed the clomid, my GP wont alter my dose. I may wait till monday and try and speak to the fertility nurse to see if i can alter my dose, but i only have 4 months left on them and then i cant have any further treatment :-( x

di did u sau ur on clomid whats ur dosage??? the docs start u on 50mg normally so maybe u need ya dosage increasing. x x x

Yeah i am on the 50mg dose, i have been fine up until now though :-s

well went and saw my consultant and finally i have been prescribed clomid now so will keep all you ladies updated on things,there are risks involved in taking it but they are tiny to me compared with the feeling of being pregnant again x

I took this for my first child. I have pcos and had been trying for 2 years, my bmi was normal so they gave it to me, I had it for 3 months, then had to wait 2 months before another hospital apt to get anymore. I got so upset that I hadn't fallen pregnant that just gave up as had it on my head I'd never get pregnant. I went to the apt and they gave me another 6 months but I never had to take them as about 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant! I'm convinced it had more to do with me not thinking about getting pregnant than the clomid though. But it was helpful to regulate my periods as I was about 56 days and it changed to about 21-28 days.

I then thought it would take me another few years & clomid again so started trying when my daughter was 9 months & I fell pregnant immediately so again I put it down to not getting stressed out about it - although that is much easier said than done and with my first daughter I only got to that point as I had given up hope.
