My 2 eldest bridesmaids (neices) will be 14 and 17. I want to make them momento bags and add lil things to it. I must be honest I'm struggling as I havent a clue what teenagers like. One thing I thought of tho was maybe to add a lucky sixpence attached to a card with a poem written on, which will explain not to be used till their wedding day. I want to buy 2 sixpences that are dated 1966, their dad (my brothers year of birth) Do you think this is a nice idea or do you think a sixpence is maybe something there own mum should give them? The 14 year old already talks about what dress she wants when she gets married etc. lol so sweet. xxx

I think if your worried about them being given them from there mum, maby you should just tell her your idea and tell her though that if thats something she is wanting to do, then you wont do it. But if she's ok, then I think it's idea.

I think that sounds like a lovely idea. Ask their mum what they think but I wouldnt have a problem with it if someone wanted to do that for my girls. (If I had them)
