Hi ladies,

Firstly hope your all well, not been on here in what feels like forever......

Its now only 6 months till our wedding and its really flying in. I are getting married abroad as some of you guys may remember. We are having a party when we come home and i am looking to make it slightly more wedding like than party, so i would like table linen for the tables, im really struggling to find CHEAP table linen anywhere....I also dont want the paper stuff....

Can any of you lovely ladies help a stressed out bride to be lol

Im having the same problem as my venue dont supply table linen so i asked my caterers and they can order them in but will cost us £8.90 a table cloth and we need more on top table so were struggling too to find them elsewhere xxx

wow thats pricy..... why wont they provide it? it comes as standard with our venue. Only in white and not ivory but at least we get something.

we are getting married abroad and just booked a local bowling club for our party/reception.....so its not a standard thing for them to offer :(

Because my venue is a large marquee on lots of land so they dont have their own caterers or anything they said its usually up to the caterers which is really frustrating as they provide everything else except that!?! xxx

Are you any good at sewing? You could order the material and make them. I just typed into google "cheap table linen uk delivery" and got several but not sure of what your budget is. I'm a full on bargain hunter and usually use ebay and amazon to find what I need. Good luck

PS this is what annoys me about venues these days, it's all limitations this and can't do that, the venue we have chosen seem to want to cater to all tastes. My boss was just saying i should go into wedding planning as we've been engaged just over 2 weeks and it's pretty much sorted! LOL but then I do look for very specific things when trying to save pennies and am so used to it. I've only fallen foul once or twice of cheap merchandise. Check out ebay china. I get fantastic stuff from there and it's so cheap to us but with exchange rates it's a lot of money to the people there. Good luck again xxx

Thanks EmmaLouise il try looking on ebay : ) i thought it was fine when my venue said to me they dont have the linen so we would have to order it in because i thought to myself no probs table linen wont be too much! man i wished id looked before, i got such a shock with how much they charge and its for a bit of material its frustrating xx
