lol ! I dont know about patience stef........I havn't done anything like this since I was a kid so I can bet that the first few attemps are rubbish......it'll be lot's of fun though and H2B wants to help, OMG !

I've just started to do all my save the date and its fun but long, as I am handwriting each one of them, but I love it and it teaches me to be patient and have the eye for detail :)

i like it when brides add the personal touch... we are going to TRY to do this,., try being the operative word but I am not very creative

We're attempting this too, we made some today. My hands were shaking, I was so nervous!
Don't be disheartened if they don't come out perfect- I'll have to post some pictures of my blunders. They're still going out though! Haha.

Not sure I have the patience but Im willing to give it a go, its all about individualism.. its not just about the cost of wedding stationary its the fun getting involved and having a big hand in it. Good for you, cant wait to see the finished products. : )
Nikkilee - Your H2b is an eager one, nice to see grooms getting involved, who knows a bit closer to the time I may be able to persuade my H2b to help out!! it will have to be a lot closer to as he is so laid back he is almost horizontal. : ) x

i'm quite fortunate that my auntie makes card so she is helping me find the best deals on ebay. already have the cards. cant wait to provisionally book the registrar so i can make the save the days.

OK guys, have made the 1st invite ! It's beautiful......ahhhhhhh i'm soooooo excited ! It has taken me 17 attemps to get it right though.........but now i'm well away ! It's white folded embossed card, A6 size, landscape, with 'Wedding Invitation' printed in red in swirly font, with a clear diamante underneath, and then 'Nikkita & Lee' printed in grey on the front. I have also put a red ribbon across the top. H2B is so impressed, he actually said to me that I must of got someone else to make it ! Cheeky monkey ! I have taken some pics, just gotta up load them. I feel totally satisfied knowing i've made something myself - i'm on a right high !

Nikkilee - Well done -They sound lovely cant wait to see piccys of them. I couldnt agree more, we were going to buy ours but its definately more personal to do your own and its cheaper, so a big bonus. : ) x
