I have yet to venture into getting insurance and I dont know if it will be worth it for me.
Being newly registered as disabled, I dont know about DDA and how this affects insurance. The only reason I would actually need it, would be if my condition meant that I was too ill to attend my own wedding.
I have been in denial about up until today, but it hit home when I booked my new venue and they asked for 50% deposit.

why don't you ring a few companies to speak to someone instead of doing it online when it don't explain anything. I am sure they can't discriminate about this but you'd know for sure by speaking with someone

I am becoming a little insomniac due to my depression, its annoying and tonight a bit upset as H2B went 4 drinks with his workmate for his leaving do and as soon as we had tea back home fell asleep on sofa, so I woke him so he'd go comfortably into bed, but he's stinking of alcohol and during Lent I have given up alcohol so I am defo not in bed for a few more hours

I posted about travel insurance a little while back (couple of weeks ago, maybe?) as I have various pre-existing conditions and one that is currently being investigated. Because of the latter, I can't get an insurance co to touch me for any of the named conditions. Apart from the bee/wasp sting allergy, shouldn't be an issue except: if I was to fall and brake my hip/leg and it was further complicated by my RA, then I wouldn't be covered. It's worth calling them and speaking to someone though, rather than trying to do it over the internet and getting annoyed if you're turned down. Having said all this about travel insurance, there was no issue at all with my wedding insurance, they just made a note of my RA. Good luck hun! Hx
