i have no time to make pew end flowers and dont want bows... i have found a lady that makes french vintage style cushions... basically natural linen with a french stamp on (words, postcard pictures, etc and does them with embelishments with vintage old keys attached and french worded safty pins etc) she is willing to custom make me them in to any shape for less than £5 each!!

i was thinking of hearts for each pew end (well chair end) to line the aisle with and maybe 6 inch by 6 inch or is this too small and also will this look good or a bit strange (like me haha)

I dont have pew ends, but have bought some decoration that might be nice.

I got these wicker hearts, they came from ebay for 5 for a fiver. I am gonna spray paint them silver to match my theme and hang them from the bannister on the staircase at different heights. Might even pop some flowers or ivy through them? Could be a nice and cheap idea.

I think that is a lovely idea but I would do them every other one rather than every pew end or it can end up looking cluttered and messy. (that is what the florist told me anyway)

ive added pics in an album to show what i mean... its the heart shapes that i like but she will do with the embelishments on like the pillows

them wicker hearts are nice linzi

oo good thinking jo... every other one... it is... how about the back of the chairs at the very back where people walk in as im not having sashes just lycra chair covers...

any suggestions to how to get these to attach to the chair covers without safty pins... dont want to pay to replace them!!

They are lovely. I like the heart ones the best. Would make for great gifts or xmas decorations after too. Most people when they walk into a room from the back automatically look down the aisle so I wouldn't worry too much about the seats at the back. They won't really look at them. The only thing that I could think of that might work without safety pins is if you were to get some of that invisible thread and pull it tight around the chair but even then I don't know if they would be too heavy.
