Hi, whilst i absolutely love and worship my H2B he has 2 left feet and he is wanting as much of a traditional wedding as possible. So to make it perfect is it a reasonable request to ask him to go to some dancing lessons with me so we can have the perfect first dance

I think it is perfectly reasonable, and there are plenty of places every where teaching so many different styles.
Majority of people we know have attend at least a few dancing lessons before their big day, it can be a great confience booster.

Same with my H2B. He's suggested us getting lessons too, but we've not done anything about booking them yet. Another thing for the list of things to do stil...Hx

Yes absolutely. Everytime we have been to a wedding before and had to dance my h2b has ALWAYS (without fail) stepped on my feet, so the next day I have bruises. We've been to some dance classes, and it has really helped. xx

Nahhhh I'd let him just try his best, and plus it'd add a bit of humour. Me n my partner are doing dirty dancing - time of my life song and dance for our first dance as too many weddings these days are far too serious. it's a fun and exciting day!

Yeah thats the main reason I was thinking about lessons, is because of of my nerves, neither of us like being centre of attention so it might give us a bit more confidence

I did suggest lessons to my h2b but he declined because I'm a dancer/teacher myself so I might as well teach him. So its trusty old YouTube for me- once you know the basics of ballroom, its not that difficult to get your head around.

Plus he works five days a week and has to get up freakishly early to get there, so its hard to find a class with the right style that's close enough, not expensive and at the right time.

We are quite lucky as there is a dance studio in our village and they do lessons everyday so should be able to find a time when he can go too. I'm hoping he will be positive about the idea but will have to time it right for when to ask him lol
