I have a few ideas for my centre pieces but I was wondering what to do on my top table.
With the table not being as big, I'm probably not going to have the same centre pieces but wasn;t sure what to have instead??
And also, how many? I'm having 8 at my top table I think??
I'd love to hear your ideas everyone!!

Usually people have something like a long thin flower display at the front of the table but there is nothing stopping you for having a couple of smaller items. What were you thinking of doing for the others and could you incorporate them onto it?

im having a fish bowl with te sme flowers inside as the centrepieces with petals scattered and 'love' signs sounds weird but it looks nice lol

I have the same problem. What we are having on the main tables is to big for the top table (or i feel it is to big for main table) and i am not a fan of the top table flowers you can get. So i really dont know what i want lol

I'm not a fan of the traditional top table flowers, I was going to have fish bowls and candles on the table, but I'm concerned they'll take up too much space on the top table??
The one thing I have got is a wooden mr and mrs sign but it is white and will be a white table cloth so I need some colour as well as decoration for the rest of the table!!
Will you not have colour there with napkins, favours, place cards etc?

you couls just use your long and low and on either ends use the bm bouquets. I am having 10 ppl on top table and we were advised to use either bridal bouquet or long and low, and the bm bouquets on the edges should we want them.

I have to ivory hung birdcages at either end of the top table with flowers in, and a centerpiece with matching flowers in the middle, I also have a gold Mr & Mrs sign. My theme is gold/brown and Cream so i've got brown napkin holders and brown butterflies on glasses, with matching ribbon on my favour jars and I have chocolate brown envelopes that I'm making into name place cards with hessian and layered card.... in the envelope will be a scratch card, but we won't be saying that until after the speeches...
I think if you have a colour in mind, then just accessorise with it with maybe table jewels or feathers... for flower centerpieces you can buy these water balls that you can dye with food colouring, also tie in your name cards... ect

We are having antique white bird cages with either flowers inside or a paper pom pom hanging inside (pics on my profile). And if they prove to take up too much space I am going to use vintage bone china tea pots filled with flowers as our theme is vintage garden tea party so it will fit in and not take up too much space on the table. I can use my bird cages elsewhere in the reception if needs be. :)

i am having a long and low on top table with 2 fish bowls with orchids in at either end. the rest of the tables i am having candelabras xx
