    Please help.
    Advice desperately needed.
Im having 62 guests for the wedding breakfast and a total of 100 guests for the evening. I just dont know if you only give wedding cake to the daytime guests, or do you give cake to everyone? Until I get a number in mind, I cant really get quotes. What are you all doing??

You can just do a three tier cake etc if you want then get the venue to serve up the rest from sheet cakes. It will save you a fortune doing it that way as they just need a sheet cake and then lay some icing over the top of them and cut.

Personally I would do enough cake to cover all of your guests for both the night and day but you don't have to.

I have 54 during day, with an extra 80 at time coming. We are having a 3 tier cake, 10 8 then 6 square (i think) that will be more that enough as depending on type of cake you wouldn;t give a big slice (i.e fruit)

i would cater really for all as its something people take at end of night xx

There are some sites that tell you how much cake you need depending on the shape and size of it. If I find one again I will post a link on your wall for you. You always get more portions out of a square cake than you do a round or shaped cake. Personally I'm having a fake cake decorated as I can do it in advance then I'm serving all my cake up from sheet cakes out the back.

We have roughly the same number of day and evening guests on our provisional list, we will have a cake thst covers everyone plus a little extra in case

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)
