Just seen on a certain deal website 2 sessions of Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis, £49 in Portsmouth. I am way too squeamish for the real gastric band but am v interested in this. I've been hypnotised before at a party, thinking that it couldn't possibly work and it did.
The process involves simulating the environment and experience of a gastric band fitting. So your mind and stomach thinnk it has a gastric band fitted. You have the option of coming back and receiving adjustments on their Hypnoband after they have reached their ideal weight.
I think at this point I would be open to anything!!! Anyone had this done already??? xx

Sounds really good i'd give it ago maybe they could hypnotise me into thinking I hate chocolate and cake that would be really helpful!! Really clever idea if it works x

that does sound good but £49 sounds too cheap to me! For that price it is worth a go though. If you do decide to do it ask for reviews first to make sure you just arent throwing money away.
my mum got hypnotised about a month ago to stop smoking cost £230 i think. it worked for about 3 weeks but she has started again now. all because she was stressed with moving.
Im not saying it wont work but just make sure you are prepared for it not too aswell xx

It normally costs £300 but due to the deal site you can get it for £49 its with a v reputable clinic. I dont want to advertise the deal site but hopefully you know which one I mean but I can put a link to the clinic and the 2nd video down shows a clip of gmtv lorraine kelly and dr hillary talking to a woman that lost 7st and 5 dress sizes in 8 months by having this hypnosis. xxx

I've just bought the deal. Omg! I'm quite excited! I have already lost nearly 7st but now finding it difficult to find the motivation so this may do the trick. Hoping that even if the idea of believing I have a gastric band fitted doesn't work the CBT counselling therapy and tackling the food issues included in it, will make me feel possitive and have a healthier attitude to food. I rang Steve at work to tell him, and he said he will support me and said he will take me out for a nice last supper the night before I have the hypno. I will have to book it for May as that's the only time Steve has off work. Its valid till June anyway. The deal is on till midnight tonight if anyone else is interested. xxx

Well its all booked for April 12th. Spoke to the hypnotherapist today on the phone who talked through everything that we will be covering in the sessions. Unlike the real gastric band, the first session will focus on the root of food problems ie comfort eating, boredom, yo yo dieting. Then once we have gone through that I will have the session that simulates having a gastric band fitted with all the sounds and smells etc... of a real procedure. Having the suggestions that I do indeed have a band fitted and my stomach and appetite is smaller. Well I am hoping more than anything that it works. At the very least hope that something clicks within me to make dieting and controlling my weight easier again. xx
