just thought i wud advice u all to get things booked that can get booked up quick! my car company i have gone with has already been booked up for my day on the car i first wanted, luckily wheni saw the other car i preferred it!!!

Wow, yep we have over two years to go and have already started booking things, next on the list are the photographer and lunch venue. It's very satisfying to tick things off the list

We booked all the main suppliers straight away too. You can always get invites etc anytime but when it comes to cars, photographers, venues, caterers, florist etc then you have to get in there asap to make sure they have your date or you can find someone else if they are booked. I have to admit we were really lucky that we managed to find all of ours and the ones we wanted had our date free. I would have been gutted if I couldn't have had them.

i totally agree with you, just make sure you take out wedding insurance along side it. We enquired to a photographer with 17 months to go and they were booked! So to get what you want, book ASAP. xx

Yep we've done the same, booked the venue and sorted out the photographer. Was meant to go and see the florist this weekend but we're going next weekend now. Not sure what else is big that we need to book really as the venue have sorted most of the stuff out!

Yer I know what your saying my venues booked upto four years in advance on somedays, cake shop nearly fully booked for 2012, swing band and a few other things i've hired and the horse and carriage I wanted at first was booked for my day I was gutted because it was in price range he luckly gave me someone elses number and I got it the same price x

Yes i have to totally agree. My church date was actually booked even before we got engaged.hahaha. mainly coz i didnt want anywhere else. So without that-no wedding! hehe

We still have cars, cake and photographer to arrange and frankly I'm not at all worried - a Friday in November isn't a hugely popular time to be getting married :P

Hmmmmmm I only have my venue and dress atm and 14 months to go!! ?I went to a wedding fair and one photographer I was talking to was booked for my date and that was last October. 14 months seems a long way away so I havent looked into anything else....guess I should start *Panic* :( xx
