I've started to draft out our OOS and I'm having a dilemma with my dads.
On the one hand I've got my bio dad - useless feck who I rarely see or speak to, never makes an effort to get involved with me and the kids but can play at dad and grandad to his partner's kids etc but when all is said and done he's my dad and I love him.
On the other hand I've got Pops - in the 10 years I've known him (I knew him before my mum met him) he's been more of a dad to me than bio dad ever has been, he's always there if we need him and he worships the ground me and the girls walk on, basically he's everything a dad should be.

    So when it comes to listing parents of the bride do I put;
Parents of the Bride - Mr & Mrs A Anderson, Mr S Greenwood
    or do I put
Mother of the Bride - Mrs J Anderson
Fathers of the Bride - Mr A Anderson, Mr S Greenwood
    ???

I don't want bio dad to think I'm snubbing him but I don't want to give him recognition for something another man does either.
    Help!

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

    Now, finally, Mrs Riley

Thanks ladies, knew I could count on you :) No, it's not a nice decision to have to make, family politics is a minefield!!

pennieb, you don't have to name anyone on your OOS, it's our way of giving family and the WP recognition for all their hard work and support (well, most of them anyway lol) We're putting parents, Best Man, MOH, FGs and Ushers on it. It's one of those "each to their own" sort of things

    I would put either
Mr & Mrs A Anderson together with Mr S Greenwood
    OR
Mr S Greenwood and Mr & Mrs A Anderson

Depending on which one is making the greater emotional and/or financial assistance.
