try not to take out a loan. Could you put it on your credit card and pay it off afterwards before the interest rate kicks in, or go to get a load from the bank of parents?

go to moneysupermarket and find a credit card that has interest free on purchases for the first 6 months. I did see one the other day, think it was Lloyds TSB. That way you get another 6 months to pay it off with no interest.
