its just that you will have to have a certification from the health dept stating that you kitchen meets hygiene regulations etc
also if you are going to sell them you will have to declare your income to the inland revenue

Gets a bit complicated then, that's why I make cakes for my friends for the price of the ingredants only, I do my cake caking decorating for love mostly as I find it very relaxing. If I had any suggestions, maybe a cake/biscuit stall at a car boot or try a local deli. I know a friend of mind who leafleted all the children's parents outside the school gates (and hands her cards out at every party her daughter is invited too) which I think is pretty cheeky, but she apparently does quite well from her little sideline, so it is possible.

im just going to sell them at the school fete where my sister is there having like a mini carboot to sell you own cakes toys ect ect i know i wont make much and probs wont end up going towards the wedding but more my daughters toy box lol and yes like you hunny if i can get the hang of it wouldnt mind doing it for friends and personal birthday cakes as i have 1 in march my daughters in april h2b in june sons in october then also mum dad sisters ect but nothing more as im not that good to make a bissness out of it :D
if i got really good then i would think about it as a bissness if not then it will be just a hobby like hunny said and charge them for ingrediance and if its family just mention if they want to make a little donation to but it in my daughters money box for her
