There's a small handful of us getting married in Vegas actually - clearly a popular choice!
We booked through the travel agent that hasn't yet lost it's cherry, if you know what I mean! It's a long story, but I'm pleased we've booked through them as we've already been given access to the V-Longe at Gatwick and they got us a really good deal.
We fly out on Mon 12 Sept, stay at the MGM Grand in a Queen Bungalwo Suite for 5 nights. Then we're hiring a Harley Davidson and going round the Grand Canyon for 4 nights (not included with the package - we pay for ourselves for this bit). Then it's back to Vegas for the final 2 nights at the Four Seasons for a bit of luxury. Believe it or not, it was cheaper to stay at the Four easons than it was at Caesers Palace!!! The cost of the package is £2088 for the both of us.
We're getting married in the Shalimar Chapel. We're having the Package C which costs $299 and paying an additional $59.99 for 30 days webcasting so guys back home can watch it at their leisure.
I've got a lady who is going to do my hair and make up out there, so can give you her details if you want those, and also found a great dry cleaning co, but I guess with your theme you may not need that!
There's someone on the forum who has a couple of apartments in Vegas - I'll try and remember who - and she knows Vegas really well and is super nice, so I'm sure she'll know a fair amount too!
Give me a shout if you need anything else HX

WOW! that sounds amazing what you are doing. We are hoping 2 stay in caesers palace, just looking 2 see where is the cheapest place 2 book it, there will be about 20 family members coming with us. I went 2 travel agent and they gave me a quote of £1199pp caesers palace 1 week and flight. If you could pass me her name wen u remember who..lol X

It's lalabunny! She'll probably pop up here soon as she tends to pick up on Vegas related threads!
Ok, can I offer you some advice about the travel agent?
Basically, we went to somewhere that finds trails(! - If you haven't cottoned on yet, we're not allowed to advertise on the forum, hence the weird references to companies sometimes!) and got a base-line quote. then we went to the 'one that's not popped it's cherry yet' to see what their price was like. THEN we went to an independent travel agent. They were all quite competetive and really wanting our business, as I'm sure you can imagine! Then we started on our own research. It's really time consuming but it so worth it! I compared all flights (direct only) and looked at costings by doing a google search on the best prices we could get for MGM, Caesers and Four Seasons (the three options we'd given to all the travel agents). Then I started compiling the spreadsheets! All in all, I managed to save around £500 from our original quotes by going back to each agent and letting them know what I could do and asking them if they can match or beat it. Amazing what you can do with the internet these days!!! Make sure you keep a record of where the best prices are from though as the travel agents will prob want to varify the info you've given them. Hope that helps Hx
PS - also sent you link to hairdresser via message.
