This is my 2nd Marriage... and H2B 3rd marriage.. His first one lasted 7 months.. (he was in the army and very young at 19..) his second lasted 15 years.. 3rd time lucky for him lol My first marriage lasted 15 years....
Is it true that Second time around is better...? How many of you are having a 2nd time around marriage?? 18 n a bit weeks to go.. Cant wait!! :)

You'd think I'd be like a wedding organising expert by now, but I swear this one feels more like my first than either of the other two. I'm far more excited/obsessed/overwhelmed than I was before. I'm hoping that's a good sign :-)

I never got married to the others as I bailed out before the day but I think that it does get better as when you have had a bad relationship it makes you appreciate when you have got it good. I think also the older and wiser you get the easier it is to not only pick the right person but to handle problems better so they don't get out of hand.

1st for me 2nd for h2b, his lasted 5 yrs but they were great friends after for another 5 years and only just got divorced in December. so 10 years between marriage and divorce. He says he has learnt from mistakes from the previous marriage, things like not holding your feelings in and stuff like that.

This is my second time around being married but 3rd time having a long term relationship, first partner lasted 9 years, second time (married this one) lasted 10 years, this time I am 100% sure I have the right one and I hope it will last the lifetime. Both ex's had affairs. My H2B has been married twice before, first time 6 months (married to spite his parents) second time was 10 years and now me so I personally hope it's 3rd time lucky. In 15 weeks and 5 days (who's counting lol) will be the start of the rest of our lives.

This is my second time around (was married for 14 years) and so far i'm loving it! First time the planning was pretty much left to my parents as they paid so made all the decisions really :-( This is my h2b's first time tho, so although ive already had the big white church wedding he hasnt. So as we cant get married in a church as h2b wants im determined to make it just as special and fantastic for him! Plus this time round i have the added bonus of having my 3 children there with us to share in the joy of the day, so we have added and adapted the vows etc to include them to make it even more special!
