Heres the thing ladies, im just after a brainstorm....we are buying suits for John, his best man and Johns son Daniel. The problem is Daniel is 13 and sooo tall but really slim, mens suits dont start small enough but teenage suits dont fit either. We dont want to pay a fortune either as he's growing so fast, and to be honest will probably leave it to April to buy to make sure it will fit... we are now thinking about hiring a suit for Dan, but John really wants to be able to keep his wedding suit, and wants Daniel to look the same.....so any ideas where i could go and look would be fab....mens suits are not really my thing ;O) x x

Can you not find somewhere that will hire his suit for a reasonable price? Moss Bros do good suits that aren't too expensive (although I don't know your budget) and they do some small waists on their suit trousers etc. Have a look around you may be able to find something.
ASDA did a good suit as my brother is tall and very slim and he found one in there. Otherwise see if you have a cheap tailor in the area who could take it in for him x

My son is also tall and skinny, topshop, next, burtons all do skinny fit suits. M & S do a selection of suits for the smaller frame for less than £50
We got the suits for the men from Matalan! Really pleased with them and dead cheap! Managed to get different sizes ok there too!

Thank you to all, some good ideas will have a look around :o) we are not too fixed on cost but he wont wear it again so maybe hiring Dans would be a good idea..its just not as exciting as dress shopping ! lol x

Could you not get a suit that is long enough and then get a dress maker to have it taken in? Either that or just get them to make a suit? If you go to the yellow pages you might be able to find a decent priced one and they will give you some advice as to what the best thing to do it. I found a lady up the road that can do the BM dresses for £80 from scratch with all the fittings and I get what I want that way.
