We got suits all ordered today :0) Really happy with h2b's choices. We're not entirely sure whether he should have a different colour cravat to the others. He is having an ivory waistcoat which is different already but should he keep in with the theme with a fushia tie or be different? We're both unsure! Advice ladies please xx

We're not sure whether to match the groom to me or the bridesmaids. I know it makes more sense to match him to me but he wants to wear colour. The groomsmen were going to be in teal waistcoats and cravats to match the BMs and H2B in silver and ivory but he fancies wearing the colour. The woman in the shop said it would be weird for him to match the BMs but I think he should wear whatever he wants. He's gonna stand out cos he's the one on my arm!

I think often now the groom is in a different colour it makes them stand out a little then too. my h2b is having the same waist coast as ushers and bm which is champagne but he is having a cream cravat. I dont think there is any rules in getting married nowadays i think its all about what you like bestx

all our men are having the same waistcoats, but H2B and our son are having silver cravats, hankies and the bm, my dad, ushers and my brother are all having burgundy cravats and hankies so they co-ordinate with the bridesmaids. but have been to weddings where they all wear the same colour so depends on how u both feel xx

Ours are all having the same at the minute but groom has a larger and 2 colour buttonhole and the others are plain.
I may change my mind as yet though as I would really like him to stand out but then I might just make the handcherchiefs in the pockets a different colour!

h2b is having the same as the mest man, bms and groomsmen. They say it's so people know who the groom is but everyone who's coming to my wedding should know this anyway. I may do the same as yourfirst, give him a different hankie

All our groomsmen and pageboys are wearing the same suits and cravats, aside from my H2B who's cravat matches my dress - our bridal shop told us that it is common that the groom have at least one thing different about his suit, as to identify him as the groom (as if I'd mix him up!)

I dont think it matters. We are only doing it the way we are because there are so many of us in different colours. I am in All Ivory (thought i wanted a coloured dress that didnt happen) The Bm and the MOH are wearing all Purple my teen bm is wearing a purple dress with a ivory sash and the Flower girls are getting Ivory dresses with purple sashes.
Everyone is having some sort of orange on the the BMs jewellery is and the other people will have a orange flower or something

Ours are all matching as we have had to have them hand made (no colour matches ours) and we've had their names embroidered into them so they have something to keep afterwards, as well as their other present xxx

I am planning to have most of the guys in the bridal party matching but h2b is going to have an ivory suit so he will stand out from everyone else anyway. Can't wait to see him in it all, pale pink waistcoat, cravat etc with his suit, he will look gorge! :) x
