Let me see... ex hb - just outgrew each other I guess, got married too young, pressure of children, money, his mid life crisis
then ex partner.... lying, cheating scumbag who liked to brutalise women
then ex partner after that.... alcholic who had unpredictable nature and violent.... nice couple of men, wasnt very lucky!
Then met current partner and totally different in every way, sweet, dependable, loving, good morals and cant wait to marry him!

Only had one ex. We were going out for almost 2 years when I moved to Japan after uni. We planned to do the whole long distance thing, but after 2 weeks he told me he was gay!!!

Met my h2b 2 weeks later :D

Ex no1 - Met when we were 16, engaged at 18 split at 21. We were too young but lived together at his parents for a year. He didn't know the meaning of treating someone and his favourite line was (after buying me a drink) 'you owe me one back' (wtf??) He sailed off to uni when he was 21 (after a 4 year apprenticeship) and I finished up meeting his brother's friend....

Ex no2 (the brother's friend lol) - Met at 21, parent at 22 (he was 2 years younger). We had an on/off relationship for the last 5 years before we split. He didn't know the value of money and finished up running up bad debts - also lazy and stayed at home to 'bring up' our son while I went to work full time. When he did eventually go back to work (when our son started school) he had affairs and ran up more bills. We split when our son was 10 - best thing I ever did (well, after meeting h2b). He moved onto someone he worked with, had a daughter, got into serious serious debt - and committed suicide 4 months ago.

Devastating for my son but he's 17 now and getting there slowly. It just goes to show that 1) I'm happiest I've ever been with h2b and 2) I'm 39 now but it was definitely worth the wait to find someone I'm actually going to marry.

Oh and by the way - I think I must be a serial 'engagist' as I actually got engaged to every one of em lol.

Ex no.1-Didnt want nothing in his life wanted to stay and live with mummy n daddy forever and live off jsa!
Ex no.2- Was a lying cheating bar steward! Broke my heart completely but i away im glad he did!
Ex no.3-Was a drug dealing twat! Who got me pregnant and then slept with my 'best' mate and then decided he wanted us to have the baby but I just couldnt as i found out about him n the drugs.

I really didnt have much faith in men when i met h2b!

Ex 1 cheated on me with my 'best friend' and then got some girl pregnant (thank you for doing that as it made me see how unhappy I was with you and that I could do better)

Ex 2 had loads of debts and would never take responsibility and never spent and decent time with me. He loved me but never showed it. He was also very good at breaking things and ripping my house apart leaving me to sort it all out.

Number 3 is the man of my dreams and the two failed relationships showed me what I didn't want and makes me realise just how lucky I am to be with him. I'm going to marry him knowing I am with the best man in the world!

Ex 1 - split up mainly as he had lied about money issues and he had been abit aggresssive in he earlier stages of our marriage so I knew trust was now completely broken (great mates now tho and we have 2 kids together)
Ex 2 - strangely he couldnt work out why I asked him to go after he had an affair, said it was all down to us havng such a good life and thinking I was having an affair (stupid idiot) whilst seperated he tried to get us back together and 1 night decided to drive to mine as he was lonely and wanted to talk (his gf had just gone on holiday with her hubby and kids) but he had been drinking so crashed his car (no one hurt) I "accidently" copied her in to the emails he sent asking to come and stay and that he had made a mistake ; so he lost his licence for 18mths and his new gf - shame

LOL - awww Hails - you could keep us all entertained for weeks - we could all curl up with a nice hot cup of cocoa as we gather round to hear "Tales of the Ex of Hails".

My daughters dad, i get on really well with, he is a brilliant father and a good friend of mine, people ask why we ever split up.... and then i explain daughters half sister is only 4 months younger than her...that seems to say it all lol

Sons dad, well what can i say. He was a bully he bullied and abused me and it turns out the kids as well. He walked out xmas day for another woman. This is after it turns out he was sleeping with the girl who was "freinds" with me who lived below me when we were living in the flat. The funny thing is, she actually told me she had met a man online and could i have her kids while he came round, i was sat upstairs giggling when i heard her at it, little did i know it was my boyfriend at the time! He hasnt seen or contacted or paid any money for his "son" in over 2 years, my son says h2b is his new dad now, its sad, but atleast he is happy now.

Only got the 1 ex. Met him when I was at uni 200 miles away from home. He was 13 years older than me, divorced with a 7 year old. After leaving uni I stayed over in N Wales as he was the "love of my life". Ended up after 7 years me leaving as he was having an affair with a woman up the road. Funny thing was I'd known for 18 months it was going on but everytime I said something he would accuse me of being paranoid! It was all in my head! I was the insecure one! Anyway she'd had too much to drink one night and rang me. I actually thanked her lol least I wasnt going nuts!! Next day I packed up n shipped out! Text my H2B after I'd been home about a week as we'd known each other for 10 years and he always said that whenever I was back for a visit he'd buy me a drink. So we went for a drink a fortnight to the day that I moved back and it felt like the previous 7 years of my life had never happened. He is my soulmate, my best friend and has shown me the meaning of true love. I can't wait to be his wife xx

My exes shall be staying where i left them..... in the past.

3 serious relationships for me:

1 - my youngest's dad, although we weren't living together he was round at mine all week - but went back to his place at weekends so he could still have time with "the lads". Disappeared on me when I was 4 months pregnant, didn't answer my calls, literally couldn't find him anywhere! A month later he came crawling back and like an idiot I said yes (well, I was pregnant :P). A few weeks later I was staying at his one Friday night and he'd gone off out with the lads to the local for a couple.... and came back at 2am with another woman! Needless to say I left the following morning! He used to be a good dad but don't know what changed but he he stopped bothering at all, used to see her in the playground at school when he was collecting their son and would blank her! He stopped paying maintenance 2 years ago and has ignored all efforts by CSA to get his wage info for a new calculation. They're now due to get married this summer - providing of course that they can still afford it once the maintenance calculation comes through, which should be anytime now :P
2 - Ex-fiance, total jerk, was younger than me but seemed to have everything together - owned his own house, had a good job and seemed responsible. Left me on my birthday - the day before I was due to pay out £800 for my wedding dress! Completely ignored me for months - then decided he wanted to try again. We batted backwards and forwards that way for 2 years - then I found out that the entire time we had been on and off he had been sleeping around behind my back! More fool me for allowing it to have gone on for so long though!
3 - Lovely guy, I have nothing but good things to say about him, he was one of the good ones - but unfortunately we'd only been together 6 months when he got offered a promotion that meant him moving to London and I decided that not only should he take the promotion, but that I couldn't follow him because we hadn't been together particularly long to leave everything behind. I don't have contact with him anymore, only because it was far too painful to stay in touch.

Still, if it wasn't for all these things, I wouldn't have been in the right place to end up with Steve :)

My first ex at age 16 was because he joined the army and didnt want to tie me down at such a young age....8 years later we got back together (just as he was leaving his first wife!) and thats the one im marrying this year lol!!!!!!

The 3 in between were: 1) nice guy but we grew apart after 5 years together and i left him for....2) bigheaded lad's lad who dumped me when he found some1 better! 3) lying, thieving smackhead bar steward no idea what on earth i went near him for but took 2 years to get away from!!!

And then i get back in touch with Andy who as it turns out is my first love as well as the love of my life!! x

Hehe Goff, love it, but like Kimi, my H2b is my one and only and couldn't imagine life without him! We have been together for 6 years, 1 month and 23 days, I moved in with him after the first week, and since then have not spent a day apart. Like all relationships there have been good and bad times, but I know he is the man I am meant to be with. He knows me more than i know myself, we are so similar, yet completly different. I think we were just meant to be...the one put on this earth for me to find and spend the rest of my life making happy :)
