I was going to use toffee apples for favours as well as an organza bag with 5 marshmallows (goes with my theme) but mentioned it to an aunt earlier and she kinda made a face as if to say "Not sure about that" so I've been looking online and found some favours for women I quite like, they are glass LOVE coasters, around 1.60 each but I can't find anything for men! Can ya help or give me some ideas??

I was thinking of doing miniature bottles of whiskey but it works out quite expensive. I really want to do toffee apples and marshmallows :-( just worried now that people won't like it!

I like the tool set idea lol thats cute!! I was just talking to h2b about it, he thinks to just go with the toffee apples and marshmallows. The last few weddings Ive been too we didn't even get favours and one of them we had to travel to Portugal for! I just don't want people to think its cheap lol

I was going to use gift tags as name places and attach them to the toffee apples.. I thought it was a great idea and instead of the traditional 5 sugared almonds I was going to use marshmallows and give everyone a sparkler. I'm paying for enough just having them there! But I really didnt like my aunts reaction to it and I dont want that from my other guests :-(

You could spend forever trying to find a favour that everyone likes but at the end of the day it's just a token thank you for coming. Sugared almonds, home made cookies, marshmallows, whatever. It's your day and most people will love whatever you give them I get so excited if I so much as get a free pen at work! So a bag of marshmallows sounds lush. They'll eat it before they've had chance to wonder if it was the best favour they've ever received anyway!xx

How about cadbury's chocolate fingers with 100s and thousands on one end to make them look like sparklers (did these with my class) just dip the ending hot water then the sprinkes!

You will never please all your guests so I say stick with your first idea because I say it sounds fab!!! No matter what you get or how much you pay someone will not like them...eg my h2b hates whiskey. Your guests should be grateful to get anything considering how much you are paying for them in the first place!

We've decided we are sticking with the toffee apples and we are going to do organza bags filled with old retro sweets.. Including popping candy!! And then on the tables a few small bowls of marshmallows :-) I'm sure I can fund some pretty dishes from somewhere!
