Ok so im all new to the whole wedding thing and when i have gone to other peoples weddings i have not paid too much attention to whose receiving gifts from the Bride & Groom. Ive tried googling it but thought coming on here would be so much easier. I want to go for the traditional thing where BM's etc gets gifts from us But apart from Bridesmaids Groomsmen / best man who else gets gifts?

EDIT please remember to search the catorgories and put your thread in the relevent one, this helps to keep the forum tidy and will help other brides when using the search filititys find what they are after
    thank you

Don't forget both sets of parents - I think the two mothers in particular normally receive something

Yes I am thinking of presents for Best man, ushers, bridesmaids, mothers of bride and groom and also Nans.

Although i think the bridesmaids presesnts will be jewellery for them to wear ont he day so will give them in the morning, also giving out all the presents at the speechs can be long and boring (for those not receieving)

i'm planning a slightly alternative ceremony [known as a handfasting] but this emans i have different people to "respect with a gift" after the service. As much as i would wish to thank BMaids's, PB's, the MOH & BM, I also am giving to my HighPreistess as a ritualistic thankyouu and to my Summoner [again, religious]
I figure, the people who made your day special, or worked hard to get it right for you, they're the people who desreve it. :] <3 x

i`m am not giving anything to the mothers as neither of them will have been involved in anyway my bridesmaids will be getting thier pressies......also my son who is walking me down the asile , am actually thinking of wiping out whats he owes me ....thought that is more use to him than a hip flask although depending on what he has paid off by then he may well get both

I'm going to but gifts for those who are offering lots of things for our wedding, like my friend who is a florist and her husband who is a photographer, I will be getting them something special as they are making my day special :) Also thank you presents to the BM's for helping me out. H2B & his best man don't really care for this type of thing... they just say it's silly girly stuff :P Xx

if your girls and mums are staying at a hotel, then what about a little pack of slippers, towels, relaxing shower gel, candle etc all together in a gorgeous little pack, in your colour theme ribbon and with their initials embossed on the towels?
link on my wall for an bay of e seller that does all that for £11.99!! she is going to swap the mini-towel for me for a hankerchief.

    they are really cute.
