I have posted this idea in another thread but thought some people might not see it. Basically you can make salt dough for next to nothing and turn it into works of art. I've posted a link on my wall to some examples that will get you inspired. For the price of a bag of flour and some salt you can make special personal favours for all of your guests.
If you google salt dough it will give you the recipe on how to make it. You can colour it with food colouring, paint, glitter etc and then bake the shapes in the oven until they are hard. They can be used as place names, favours, venue decs etc and you can do them in any colour shape and size to suit. Google salt dough images and loads will come up to give you an idea of what you can do.
Kids love making things with salt dough so if you have them its a great way of getting them involved in the wedding and adding a personal touch.

Hmmm my brain is in overdrive. I was thinking instead of a card seating plan if I could get a board with hooks and then hang the heart from ribbon under each table number so the guest then unhooks their name and takes it........

Ow I am having sugar Almonds... I was told that 3 in a bag for each guest simbalises love, luck and happiness or something along them lines. I know you can buy big jars of them for Costco really cheap. Loving your idea x
