i really really want to start my invites but i know its far to soon to send them out specially as we have yet to tell my MIL and FIL were gettin married >.< i just really want to start making them as were having 2 different ones (wedding an separate evening ones) and im worried i might not have time to make them when im also making other things like table place names ect

ps when should i send out my invites?? x

invites dont generally go out til about 3/4 months before the wedding- maybe you could make and send out save the dates in the mean time if you really want to send things out xx

I think its to soon. I have changed my wedding date 3 times, lol. U just dont know what might happen. Might change your venue, times may change. I sent my invites out 2 weeks ago and Im getting married may.

we sent ours our six months before so our guest would have time to sort accommodation. any earlyer and it would just go off peoples radas

My mum is making ours at the moment. We've got two send out dates. The ceremony itself invites will go out in April as people will need to book accom and flights for Vegas and then the London reception invites will go out in July. Never too early to start making them though! x

dont forget you might even change you theme or colours, i ended up changing mine twice, and then the venue, i agree with dove, start making the outside bits and put together a collection of ideas and materials. x

so little time, so much to do!

I'm sending my save the dates out next week for my 3rd sept wedding. I'll be sending my invites out in April/May with a reply date by of mid July, I think that'll be ok... taken ages to sort my save the dates out as the ones I wanted were perfect and the seller was away, all sorted and proof read and hopefully with me next week... keep meaning to load pics - 24hrs is not enough!

OR you could just send out "We're Getting Hitched" Notes to let everyone know that you're engaged. At least then you can play around with dates before finalising them! xx
