I couldn't write this on here before as my lovely SIL2B is on this site too and I wanted it to be a complete surprise. However, now that the day is over I thought some of you might be interested in what we did during our wedding breakfast. I didn't want just general music playing and we wanted to make it more personal so in the end we put together a playlist with a song dedicated to each guest / couple. All songs were relevant, proper memory jerkers and we included songs for those who were sadly missed too. It went down really well with each song coming on and that guest getting the nod from us. It was a real conversation piece and because of the thought that had gone into it everyone really appreciated it (so much so that I am putting mini versions in our thank you cards).

I made it on I-Tunes and downloaded a playlist to the i-pod it didn't cost that much to do (about £40) but it was well worth it to do something different. I enjoyed every second of going down memory lane picking songs for everyone. It was definitely one of the most personal things I did for the wedding xx

That is a great idea. We are asking our guests to tell us what their fave track is so it can be played on the evening in between the live singer. I love the way you made it so personal to them all. What a great idea.
