Hi,

I am looking for a reasonably priced photography in the Derby area. Prices are coming up at over £1000 which my budget can't really cater for.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

Mine is £999 but that is for all day and for two photographers. They do other packages depending on how long they are needed for which start from £195. If you get the CD there is no need to buy expensive albums as you can have them done over the internet for £30 each! I'm not sure how far they travel out as they are based in Hinckley which is about 50 mins from Derby. I will post details on my wall for you.

Hi, have only just seen your post. I'm having this amazing photographer whos based in Derby. His prices are lower than £1000 but worth well over in my opinion. You need to email him and he sends you stuff as it not on the website. I'll post a link on your wall x

You could try searching for a local photographic society, I found a lovely lady who is a memeber of one near me, her pics on her website are amazing.. her and another member are doing ours for £400 for the whole day as it is just a hobby for them. x

Hi Mrs stone 2B, my photographer is charging me about £395 for our photos. He lives in stapleford and we are getting married in Leicestershire. I don't know if he would cover derby but if you put a link on my wall with your e-mail address I will happily send you his details. Kath xx

Hi MrsStone2B - your profile is restricted so I can't put a link on your wall, but I believe my photographer is based in Derby, and charges between £200 and £800 depending on the package you want. i have a photogapher from leicestershire, he is charging £650 for a trial and on the day, he does alot of candid shots, he will be there from the groom arriving until the evening, and he will do us about 90 photos, and after paying the initial £50 deposit, doesnt want paying till he brings us the photos. :)x

I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August
I married him and became Mrs Garnham.

Try John Hope - based in Leeds but will travel. I'm new to forum so not sure on rules about plugging individuals but he's doing our wedding next year :)

£1000 doesn't seem a lot for a good photographer. When we were looking, the price range was from £300 to £7000 (wow). We went for Michael Jessa and paid £690. I think he will do Derbyshire as well.

Have you looked in the supplier listings?
You might find a two photographer team that cover weddings in Derbyshire and Leicestershire your full day from morning visit to first dance. You may find one that includes all pre-wedding meetings, a slideshow of your images and a 30 page 12x8 storybook for £850

I'm not saying you will, but you might :)
