Wedding Forum - I can't believe how excited I am for...

My h2b has booked a Rolls for me and also another for his parents yet has planned to drive himself and the best man to the venue in his car! As you can imagine I'm not going to let that happen on his wedding day so I've booked him his dream car, a vintage Jag. Its taken me a while to find a vintage that I could use as most of them want his DL and signature before hand or charge the earth to drop it off etc. The company I found is a little out of the way but it is only 10 minutes away from one of my friends who is a guest. He has offered to bring it up on the day and drop it off to the h2b in time so I'm well made up. Its now worked out cheaper than if I had booked him a wedding car. I'm hoping that I can now save up some more and get him the four day hire so he can play with it for a little longer. I just can't believe how excited I am now. I've been trying to call his mum to tell her but they are out and I'm bursting to tell someone.

I'm sure he will love that. I just can't get over the price though as I thought they would be far much more to hire for the day than it would be to have them for a few hours. The only thing I forgot to ask is the deposit on the insurance. Yikes! I think I had best ring back and check lol.

He will be over the moon. I just hope that he makes it to the wedding on time and doesn't go for a long drive! I checked with the company and I do need to leave a swiped card but they don't take the money unless the car goes back damaged so its not so bad.
