my experience prob wont help but didnt wanna read and run we sent the to our evening guests only due to our ceremony location but some girls on here have sent them to all and just added an extra note stating day or evening how many are coming to each ???

We're having 35 people during the day, and I haven't calculated the people for the night yet, maybe another 50-60 people?

I'm sending them out to my day guests only too. Prob about 10mnths before the wedding. And then sending out the invites about 5-6mnths before the wedding.

im doing 9months then invites 4 months. is anyone putting on there save the dates asking people if they already know they wouldnt be able to make it to let us know by a certain date like.
Due to limited spaces we kindly ask if you already know you will not be able to make our wedding please let us know by 23 january 2011.
If so is that wording acceptable? or is it too cheeky. We had an save the date like that last year but i cant remember how they put it. There are limited spaces (but not sure if i should say it on the std) and too many people we would love to be there.
is there any other way you would phrase it?

we have done a website and have put a link on the save dates. They can RSVP via that. But think I will wait for the main invites to see who all can come and who cant, cause I can always fill empty spaces with work people so am kinda lucky that way. They wont mind being stand ins!

a pretty poor attempt!
Due to restrictions at the venue We cant invite all we would wish So please advise if you know you cant come So we can give your seat to another bum!
