Congratulations! my eldest daughter got married 3 years ago after being engaged for 19 years and their then 2 year old daughter was here bridesmaid so they had the christening at the same time to make it a double celebration. Enjoy the planning and have a lovely day xxx

Do you mind if i asked why it was a long engagement? and that goes for any of you lovely ladies!!! Its just that i was with my hubby for less then a year before we got engaged and married 5 months ago. been together for 3 years in total..... i think if i had to wait a really long time that i might get bored and prehaps think there no point getting married.....

we were going to get wed 14 years ago but i fell pregnant with our daughter. i said i wanted to wait until she was born. guess what i fell pregnant with our son straight after so the wedding dress i bought got sold no more babies lol. i think it will be nice to have the kids there now they are older and i wont have to keep a constant eye on them and they are able to help with the organisng. good luck on your big day
