    Hi All!

Have you ever considered escaping the stress of wedding planning and disappearing to Gretna Green, or to a deserted island at home or abroad...? David Tennant has, in his new film. The Decoy Bride has just completed filming and will appear in cinemas next Spring. Find out more in our exclusive news story on our Home Page.

The actor is, according to Cosmopolitan, the 16th S e xiest Man in the World, and is in 20th place in New Woman's Top 100 Men survey... an unlikely s e x symbol... or the ideal male character in a film that's all about love? Your thoughts please!

Meanwhile, we pose the question... would you ever escape and marry in secret, or do you believe weddings are for friends and family to celebrate as much as for the couple themselves?

    Best wishes for now!
    Rob x

i feel weddings should be celebrated with friends and family, but i can see the appeal of running off and getting married, my parents did it

I wouldn't do it, although it has crossed my mind. I want my friends and family there making the commitment to support us in our married life.

we had thought about going abroad and getting married and not telling anyone until we got back - but it would hurt our families too much as they want to be there with us

David Tennant is the reason I started watching Dr Who...dont watch it now as its just not the same!

I think weddings are for family and friends to celebrate with you...I just cant imagine ours being the same if it was just Steve and I there. xx

We thought about it, and my mum even encouraged it we decided to do it all close to home and invite everyone.

I wanted to get married around our friends and family so never considered it but if I had friends and family like some of the brides on here I would definitely run away and do it. Then again I might not come back with some of the things I've read on here!

MMMMMM DAVID TENNANT ive had such a thing for him since he became dr who! and cried like a baby on his last episode. yummy scrummy man.
Plus if i got married in secret it would ahve to be on the most romantic island ever away from everyone and anyone. its not about friends and family, hense why im having a cheep small wedding its about the two of you. (and david tennat if he wants to join in)

Oh God yes, we have discussed this over and over again. However, we decided against it because of the uproar it would cause. Pretty much everyone but my parents would be furious, even down to our colleagues at work who are all buying outfits and going crazy. So this remains an unattainable wish.

I'm in 2 minds about this, it's romantic to just have the 2 of you somewhere on a beach, middle of nowhere, beatiful sand, sea & sun shining down on you, simple dress & him in shorts or something.

But...having family around is lovely, being able to share your special day with other people that have quite a significant meaning in your life.

This year me & Adam are having a small ceremony, me, him, his mum & gran & my dad & his GF. Next year we're having a huge celebration for everyone to come to as we renew our vows to each other, my mum, sister & her hubby & little one (it's due in November) can come same with all of Adam's brothers & sisters.

It's going to be hard not having my mum there for our big day, but at least I can still have my dad give me away & at least we have a year to plan this big party too :D
